There’s no reason not to come to the Horizon Books reading this Thursday.  Even if you live in LA.  Traverse City is a very simple trip from LA:  only one connection and only one prop plane!  There are many many farm stands and cherry pies sold at the side of the road and in every small cafe there’s pan-fried whitefish caught that morning.  Also, my mother will be there, and no one can resist my mother.
